Child Without Placement (CWOP) Contractors generally refers to agencies, organizations, or professionals who contract with child welfare systems to provide temporary care, services, or resources for children who are in need of a placement. This can include various services designed to help manage the care of children when traditional foster homes or family placements are unavailable, or the child is in between placements.

To qualify for this position, you must have the following experience (must reflect in your resume):

• At least two years of youth experience
• Experience with re-directing behaviors and de-escalating situations
• Physically capable of assisting youth with responsibilities such as meal preparation, modeling positive behaviors, providing emotional support, and engaging youth in activities that promote socialization and skill building.
• Ability to work as a team with DFPS caseworkers
• Ability to pass a criminal and DPFS background check (including fingerprints)
